The husband and wife team of Peter and Cheryl established El-Diablo Wood Fired Pizzas as a business six (6) years ago. The trailer was purpose-built by a NSW Company in December 2017, and trading commenced in early 2018 from scratch.

They established the brand and look of El Diablo and the pizzas. Peter developed a thin, crispy pizza base and they developed a basic and gourmet range of pizzas.

They have had great success establishing the business through events (e.g., Adelaide Festival, Fork on the Road), weddings, birthday parties and have a regular presence at The Wheatsheaf Hotel (Thebarton) as part of a food truck roster.

El-Diablo Wood Fired Pizzas is a food event and catering business.

It consists of a portable, fully self-contained trailer that has a wood-fired oven, with chilled bain-marie, fridge, freezer, hand washing plumbed in and has a food safety-compliant preparation area.

In addition, there is equipment to make pizza bases – mixer, dough roller and to store bases/ingredients fridge, freezers. 

The market so far has been events (e.g., festivals, wineries, fork on the road, markets), private catering (e.g., birthday parties, weddings, corporate events, fundraisers), permits to operate within Councils (e.g., Holdfast Bay, City of West Torrens) and operating at the Wheatsheaf Hotel two (2) days a week as part of a food truck roster.
